Harness Inspection Services for the Trade & Leisure Industry 

 

High-Peak offers Inspection services to all class 2 and 3 PPE for Working at Height Safety Equipment  including harness, Fall Arrest, Work Restraint, Work Positioning and Rope Access.

High Peak offers thorough and interim inspection to all equipment associated with working at height. Our inspectors are from the working at height industries and have vast knowledge of all types of equipment used including rescue equipment. The inspection will be carried out with minimum disruption to your business.

INSPECTION TESTING & CERTIFICATION
Functional, tag, repair and certification for components and systems from a range of manufacturers. Bolt and anchor testing, safety eyebolts and temporary horizontal line systems, Our inspections are in line with manufacturer’s guidelines (BS EN 8437 and BS EN795).

Inspections need to be carried out  every six months (or manufactures recommendations if sooner),  for equipment used every day in a harsh environment it should be brought down to every three months. We will supply official documentation of the inspected items along with a further list of all equipment that did not pass the inspection and is not suitable for use.

The Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992 require employers to maintain fall arrest equipment in good repair and ensure appropriate replacement. In addition, the Work at Height Regulations 2005 require that equipment which is exposed to conditions causing deterioration, which may result in equipment failure, is inspected at suitable intervals and, especially after an exceptional occurence where the equipment has been fully deployed.
